Student Honors Council is the governing body and student voice of the Honors College. SHC strives to enrich your honors experience at Ball State in a fun, relaxed environment; we encouraged all students to attend meetings. More specific responsibilities include selecting the Provost's Prize and Vanderhill winners, planning the Freshman Convocation, planning Honors week in April, and arranging various other speakers and events throughout the year. Each year opportunities exist for motivated members to attend the regional MEHA conference and the national NCHC conference. When struck by especially captivating ideas, we also plan other events.
